About Visual Art Competition
World-Class Classic Physiques is proud to present Visual Art - a physique model competition with a portion of the proceeds (five dollars from every ticket sold) to benefit the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta (ARCA). ARCA, founded in 1988, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) center for treatment and prevention research, education, and free HIV/STD testing services. They are located at 131 Ponce deLeon Ave., in Atlanta.
Established in the Fall of 2008, World-Class Classic Physiques’ goal is to present physique competitions in a non-traditional format. All experience levels are welcome. From novice to professional. Visual Art will combine fashion with the fit female physique. It is figure meets popular reality t.v. talent and model shows. After a brief presentation from the competitors, industry experts and judges will provide live critiques and choose the top winner in each height class, the audience will select the overall winner by cell phone voting.
The overall winner will receive a custom competition swimsuit from Made2Measue4u.com, training at Ken Feinberg's Creative Studios of Atlanta, and a self-portrait painting by fine artist Charles Casnel.
The first place winner in each height class will receive a bracelet from Titanium-Jewelry.com.
All ages starting at 18 years old and older can compete in one of the two height classes:
• Short (5' 4" & under)
• Tall (Over 5' 4")

The event will take place on Saturday, June 12 - 10 am & 6 pm at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center at 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA 30034.

ABOUT THE STAFF
William Leecan is an entrepreneur who loves fitness. Not only is he the promoter and producer of Visual Art, he is the owner of World-Class Classic Physiques. He’s a natural pro bodybuilder and event manager who in 2006, won the overall title of NPC Atlanta Novice and Masters Champion. That same year he placed third in the middleweight open division at the NGA NOPI World Bodybuilding & Figure Championship. On October 10, 2006 he won the overall title at the 2006 Supernatural Bodybuilding & Fitness FAME Nationals Championship.
In 2007 he worked four SNBF and one NGA show. In the Spring and Fall of 2008 Leecan managed two NGA NOPI WBFC shows in Atlanta. June 2008 he competed in his first Pro show at the 2008 FAME World Tour in Toronto, Canada. On January 1, 2009 he debuted his first online weekly radio show on Blog Talk Radio - “Frugal Fitness Man.” The show is dedicated to help people stay fit without spending a fortune.

Ed Bowen is the head judge and owner of Body By Bowen, the official spray tanner for the 2010 Visual Art competition. He has 20 years experience in the fitness industry (spending 11 years as a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym in Lilburn) and is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He is also a licensed massage therapist at Athletic Club Northeast, specializing in muscle rehab, NMT, postural deviation and myofacial release. Ed has competed nationally in The Reebok National Aerobic Championships (mixed pairs and team) for 3 consecutive years landing him on ESPN. He was also host on a local cable show in Ohio called "Workout II".
His client base not only encompasses bodybuilders, fitness, figure and athletes in baseball and basketball but also individuals that just want to turn their life around and lead healthier longer lives.

Jacqueline Petty, JPpr Marketing and Public Relations. Atlanta, GA.
Currently, she is the public relations specialist for The Atlanta
Journal-Constitution where she work to place more than 300 journalists on
various media outlets across the globe.
Earlier public relations and marketing experience includes Zoo
Atlanta, as the public relations coordinator and later the interim
director of communications; publisher and editor for BeulahNews
magazine; and contract PR positions with Edelman, the Atlanta
Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Fluid Public Relations. In
addition, she is a nationally-published journalist and has served as an
international spokesperson.
Jacqueline graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a Bachelor
of Science in psychology, both from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.
She provides freelance public relations services to businesses. Some of her capabilities include: strategic and creative planning, branding,
social media outreach, media relations, media training, crisis

Ken Feinberg, Actor, Casting Director and Owner of Creative Studios of Atlanta.
For almost 20 years Feinberg has been casting, directing, writing,
producing and acting in award-winning films, hit television series and
major theater projects in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. Founder
and CEO of Creative Studios of Atlanta, Feinberg has cast commercials, films, TV Pilots, industrials and print in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
As an actor, Feinberg is known to millions of television viewers around the world for his role as Chaos Demon in the richly acclaimed Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He also played impressive characters on other hit series including: ALIAS, Charmed, STAR TREK’S ENTERPRISE and The District.
Monique Hayes, NGA & NPC Female Bodybuilding Champion, Atlanta, GA
Monique Hayes is a fitness trainer, motivator, professional bodybuilder and world record power-lifter. She is one of Atlanta's premiere female fitness professionals. Monique helps prepare clients for bodybuilding and fitness shows as well as personal training and health & fitness regimens. Rick Schaff, Author, Photographer, Bodybuilder & Former Fitness Model. Tampa, FL.
Rick started his career in health and fitness more than a quarter of a century ago as a personal trainer, and for the last 17 years he has remained one of the industry’s most prolific photographers and writers. His photos have been published in some of the most influential health and fitness magazines in the world, and have helped create successful advertising campaigns for industry leaders like Gold’s Gym, MetRx, and Weider Nutrition.
Between 2001 and 2003, he co-published the women’s fitness magazine DIVAS, which was a bilingual publication targeting the Latina population of the United States, Mexico, Spain, and Canada. During that time, he also became part owner and creator of a supplement company that produced an innovative antioxidant – protein - fiber drink called E2. Additionally, between 2001 to 2007, he became the co-owner of a successful, health-conscious fast-food restaurant in Marina Del Rey called Spin that served fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as hormone-free and antibiotic-free chicken.
In addition to his endeavors behind the camera, he occasionally spent some time in front of it as well. In 1996, he competed in a natural fitness competition and won for best physique. Rick was also the featured fitness model for Bowflex’s I-trainer DVD series from 2003 to 2007. In 2008 he was featured in the award-winning documentary “Bigger, Stronger, Faster.”
Alpha Tyler, Television and Film Casting Director, Atlanta, GA
Alpha's California internships with Chemin Mernard and Mali Finn paved the way for work as a casting assistant and associate for Warner Bros. and DreamWorks studios. Her earlier projects included "Martin," "In the House," "The Fugitive" (television series), "Roswell," "All of Us, " and "Numb3ers." A career highlight occurred in 1997 when she was hired as the casting assistant on Spike Lee's "He Got Game" with Denzel Washington in New York City. Six months after moving to Atlanta, GA in May 2006, Alpha met Tyler Perry and the rest is history. She's currently a freelance casting director at Tyler Perry Studios and has been the local casting director on "I Can Do Bad All By Myself," and "Why Did I Get Married Too." Alpha is currently the casting director of the television series "Meet the Browns" and cast more than 125 episodes of "House of Payne," cables #1 sitcom telecast of all time.

Physique photos taken prior to the June 6, 2009 event will be available at the silent auction in the lobby of the venue prior to the start of the show and during intermission. All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards ARCA (AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta). PB&J Gallery will host the display.
